OUR HISTORY

 

Bethel Temple is the Cathedral of Agape Christian Ministries International which was founded in the year of our Lord, 2000. Upon the leading of the Lord, Agape Christian Ministries was relocated to the New England Region in 2010 and reestablished in the City of New Bedford, Ma in the year of 2013.  We are a New Testament Church who adheres to the Word of God as our guide in faith and practice. A Pentecostal-non denominational Church that encourages to its members and associates to pursue the fullest of the Spirit of God in Christ.

 

Bethel's Mission Statement:  To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God's name.

 

Bethel's Vision Statement:  To establish and equip a diverse multicultural ministry staff reflecting our community for the purpose of reaching the unchurch for Christ through high-tech communication, blended worship styles, practical Biblical teaching and wholesome fellowship at non-traditional times suitable to current lifestyles.

 

Bethel Temple, "An Awesome Place" is the Mother Church of ACMI, a Non-denominational, Pentecostal Church committed to reaching the world for Jesus Christ through Biblical truth, evangelism and world missions.
